What about the Faroe Islands and Greenland?

Both the Faroe Islands and Greenland are part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Both are largely self-governing. One could argue that Denmark’s highest peak should be Greenland’s highest mountain Gunnbjørn, which at 3694 meters is also by far the highest in the Nordic countries?

We have chosen not to include the peaks in the Faroe Islands and Greenland when deciding Denmark’s highest summit because they are independent autonomous regions. Perhaps the Faroe Islands and Greenland should have their own marks.

But if there is interest, we will produce pins, badges and stickers also with the Faroe Islands and Greenland’s highest summits. Please contact us and register your interest. If there is enough interest, we will create products for them too.
